CHAPTER 01 / OUR STORY & PHOTO ESSAY

Our Story So Far

Two different perspectives, one city, and a lot of good days.

01 / AUGUST 2024

It began with a conversation

They came to Bangalore with different histories and different ways of looking at the world. Conversation came easily; finding reasons to meet again was easier.

There was no grand turning point. Just the pleasure of spending more time together.

02 / THE BANGALORE DAYS

The city had a lot to say

Somnath seemed to have a story for almost every corner of Bangalore. Even familiar streets became more interesting when he started talking about them.

Before long, they were collecting their own stories too — in cafés, on walks, and on afternoons that needed no particular occasion.

02 · An afternoon with nowhere else to be.
03 / FINDING A RHYTHM

Different ways of seeing things

They did not always approach things the same way. Snigdha likes a plan; Somnath tends to feel his way through things. Neither had to become more like the other.

Life simply became more enjoyable with another perspective in it.

04 / 23 JANUARY 2026

A little practice for the big day

A few days after their Roka, they were at a friend’s wedding, dressed up and standing in a flower-covered vintage car.

It made for a memorable photograph. And, as it turns out, a useful dress rehearsal.

THE STORY GETS OFFICIAL

17 January 2026 They celebrated their Roka in Barhampur.
